Your Best Zipline Buddies

Just in case you're worried that we're going to just turn you loose on a zipline course with no assistance whatsoever, you can put those fears to rest. At Smoky Mountain Ziplines, we send out experienced guides with every group.

Their first job is to get you geared up before you leave the outpost. They'll help you select the harness, helmet and gloves that will keep you safe during your journey, and they'll make sure everything fits securely and properly.

Once you're on our canopy tour, you'll get the full 411 on what to do during a zipline run—everything from the proper way to take off from the launch platform, how to steer, how to slow down and how to come to a stop at the other end of the line.

Then as you go from zipline to zipline on the 14-line canopy course, each run starts with one of the guides traveling the line first and then taking his or her place at the far end to assist zipliners as they arrive. Meanwhile, back at the launch platform, another guide makes sure that one zipliner has arrived safely at the other end before allowing the next person to go.

We hope that you'll choose us the next time you decide to try out a zipline. Smoky Mountains scenery makes for a beautiful backdrop, and we offer the biggest and best zipline action in the area. See you soon!
